Daniel is a filmmaker and editor based in Brooklyn, NY, whose work includes both documentary and fiction film. His films have played at a variety of film festivals, including DOC NYC, the Toronto International Film Festival, and the New York Film Festival.
Daniel attended Harvard University, where he taught in the film department after graduating in 2013. While there, he was also a fellow at the Film Study Center. Since moving to NYC, he has worked on two feature films: Stephanie Wang-Breal's Blowin' Up, and Karim Amer's & Jehane Noujaim's The Great Hack.
His most recent film, The Queen's Man (co-directed with Andrew Coffman), premiered at the 2019 DOC NYC film festival.
